Eric Hwang launched Real Estate Visual Media to help improve real estate marketing for agents, rental management companies, home buyers and renters. Eric passionately believes that all parties benefit from great visual media. Agents and management companies benefit from working with a professional photographer with marketing and social media experience. Buyers and renters can make better informed decisions from better representation of properties, through high quality photos, videos, 360º virtual tours, and accurate floor plans. In today's volatile real estate market, providing the necessary visuals allows real estate transactions to occur quickly and often without even a personal visit to the property.
About The Photographer
A passion for photography
I'm Eric, the photographer here at REVM. My interest in photography started in the 10th grade. My first camera was a Kodak Retina IIIc. It was a 35mm film rangefinder camera with a folding 50mm lens. I still have that camera, but have since gone through numerous film and digital cameras over the years. I now use Nikon mirrorless cameras and lenses exclusively. However, a camera—no matter how expensive or fancy—is still only a tool. It still requires the artistic vision and technical skill to create a beautiful image. And while my equipment and the technology has evolved, one thing hasn't changed; my desire to become a better photographer by refining my skills and improving my techniques. From a sweeping panoramic landscape of a faraway land to the simplicity of a photo of a kitchen in my hometown, I want to show the beauty that is found everywhere in the world around us.

I've had the good fortune to have traveled extensively with my wife and capture images of iconic locations in 75 countries on 6 continents—from Torres del Paine high in the Andes of South America to the beaches of the Maldives in the Indian Ocean. Wherever I find myself with my camera, I work to capture the beauty of the environment we see and the people we meet by showing a unique and captivating perspective. More than just a creative outlet
This philosophy I have for my travel photography extents to my commercial work as well. I'm always looking for the beauty in the homes and properties I photograph and I try to convey this in the images I create for my clients. To do this requires collaboration and preparation with agents, landlords, and homeowners to bring this shared vision to life. That preparation begins long before I pick up my camera, with planning and research, continues through the shoot, and on into post-production. This collaborative creative process is ongoing and improves with each property I shoot. Finding beauty in the world; it's not only my creative outlet, it's an expression of my values and beliefs.
